About the opportunity
The Mechanical Design Engineer will develop mechanical designs and technical documentation for industrial and commercial projects. The role requires collaboration with project managers, electrical engineers, suppliers and clients to deliver practical and compliant engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare mechanical designs, calculations and technical drawings
- Develop equipment specifications and material schedules
- Review drawings and technical submissions
- Coordinate with electrical and civil engineering teams
- Support procurement and supplier evaluation
- Participate in design reviews and client meetings
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of relevant design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and mechanical design software
- Knowledge of HVAC, piping or industrial equipment systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and spoken English
- UAE engineering experience is preferred
